Dannang
Chinese Name: Dannang (English translation: Gallbladder Point)

Location:  On the superior lateral aspect of the lower leg, 2 cun directly below the depression anterior and inferior to the head of the fibula, GB 34.

Indications:

  • Acute and chronic cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, biliary ascariasis
  • Weakness, numbness and pain of the lower extremities

Functions: Drains Damp-Heat, moves Qi.

Needling: Perpendicular insertion 1.0 - 2.0 cun.
