Weiwanxiashu

Chinese Name: Weiwanxiashu (English translation: Stomach Controlling Lower Shu)

Location:  On the back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 8th thoracic vertebra.

Indications:

  • Diabetes, dryness of the throat
  • Gastric pain, pain in the hypochondrium

Functions: Clears Heat, generates fluids.

Needling: Oblique insertion .3 - .5 cun.
