Tung Family Acupuncture differs from TCM
acupuncture in terms of points, methods, models,
doctrines, etc. Tung Family Acupuncture is based
on a sophisticated technique and could use a
singular acupuncture point to address multiple
problems at the same time. Acupuncture needles
are almost always inserted far away from the
problem area. learning and discussing clinical
Master Tung’s points, this course will help
practitioners understand Master Tung’points and
include point location, techniques, indications
(pain management specific conditions such as
migraine, headache, heel pain, stiffness neck,
upper back pain, knee pain, sciatica, fingers
pain); features and options for using master
tung’s points and techniques.
Jun Lin LAc, taught at Guang Xi University of
TCM in China as lecturer, assistant professor
and chief clinician, training over a thousand
medical students in his fields of expertise in
China. In the US, he has been an instructor and
clinical supervisor at the Emperor’s College of
Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica.
He also teaches a series Acupuncture Orthopedic
& External Medicine at South Baylo University in
Orange County. As a practitioner, Benny Lin
worked for over 10 years as a doctor and chief
clinician at hospitals affiliated with Guangxi
University of TCM. After moving to the US and
gaining his US Acupuncture licenses in the 90’s,
he maintained a private practice in New York
City for seven years until 2004, when he moved
to California. He currently has his private
practice in Santa Monica. Among Benny J Lin’s
publications, “Spine-Related Diseases” and
“Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Series/Kong Bohua” have been well received in
his fields. His professional affiliations and
positions include vice chairman of The World
Association of Manipulative Medicine.

evaluate your constitutional five phase birth
condition. In this workshop you learn the
ancient method of the Four Pillars for
identifying your constitutional health condition
and how seasons and months can influence your
health. This method can add a new and effective
dimension to your clinical practice.
Many chapters in the classic books Nei Jing, Nan
Ching and Jia Yi Jing refer to celestial stems
and terrestrial branches, you will gain a deeper
understanding of the Nei Jing’s references to
Stems, Branches and Time and their influence on
health.
This class includes:
· An introduction to the principles of Chinese
philosophy; Yin-Yang, Heavenly Stems, Earthly
Branches and Five Phases.
· Learn about the Chinese Calendar and how to
create Four Pillars Birth Charts, which includes
the energies of the Hour, Day, Month and Year of
birth.
· Learn to convert a Birth Chart to the Internal
Organs, and their condition of Excess,
Deficiency or Balance.
· Learn to make a Constitutional diagnosis and
identify susceptible organ systems and their
corresponding diseases.
· Learn five phases energies and influences of
seasons, months and years and how they influence
health.
· Learn how to develop herbal, acupuncture,
nutritional and Qi Gong treatments and practices
based on a cycles of time.
· Learn theories necessary to practice Taoist
Time Acupuncture, for example, Ling Gui Ba Fa
and Zi Wu Liu Zu, as well as authentic Chinese
