By Wendy I suffered from ulcerative colitis for over seven years. I had gone to conventional medical doctors and had received chemotherapy. With acupuncture, I experienced improvement beginning with the first treatment, even though my (Chinese medicine) doctor said it would probably take two to three months for any signs of improvement, given the severity of my illness. Within two months I was experiencing normal health. I am now beginning to taper off my medications and have not seen an M.D. or a hospital since I started acupuncture. When I first started acupuncture, I was skeptical because I was so sick that two specialists and a surgeon were demanding I be admitted for emergency removal of my colon, a life-altering operation. As a last resort I tried acupuncture and it worked! When nothing else would! I am so thrilled to be restored to normal health-I had forgotten what it's like! Wendy |
