cun below ST 35, one finger-breadth (middle finger) from the anterior crest of
the tibia.

Lower He-Sea point of the Large Intestine Meridian
Point of the Sea of Blood
Indications:
- Acute appendicitis, abdominal pain,
borborygmus, constipation, diarrhea
- Muscular atrophy, weakness, numbness and
pain of the lower extremities, beriberi
Functions:
Regulates the intestines and the Stomach and Spleen, resolves Damp-Heat
(alleviates dysentery and diarrhea), relieves pain.
Needling:
Perpendicular insertion 1.0 - 1.5 cun.
