Functions:
Expels Wind, activates the meridian, soothes the sinews, benefits the head,
alleviates pain, opens the sense orifices.
Needling: Perpendicular or oblique insertion .5 - .8 cun.
Do not insert the needle deeply medially upwards to
avoid injuring the medulla oblongata. |
