Nature: neutral

Actions: ventilates lungs, relieves cough and

BLACK BEANS

 

Nature: warming

 

Actions: tonify kidneys, nourish the yin, strengthen and   

              nourish blood, brighten eyes, promote diuresis,

              and aid kidney deficiency

 

Conditions: lower back pain, knee pain, infertility, seminal

                   emissions, blurry vision, ear problems, difficult

                   urination

 

 

MUNG BEANS

 

Nature: very cooling

 

Actions: clear heat, detoxify, quench thirst,

            promote urination, reduce swelling, aid

            edema in the lower limbs
